Rarely would I give a 5-star rating to any person. However, Gentry and Nate Wade are clearly deserving. We were in the market for a new car (not expected of course) when one of our cars died. We have been Subaru owners for many many years but my husband was always a Toyota Forerunner owner. I have been a customer of Nate Wade Subaru for 20+ years, for both sales and service needs. I have taken 4-5 cars there over the years, and purchased three from the dealership. Nick Westover is the best car sales person I've ever dealt with! We came in to Nate Wade Subaru dealership with some specific request for a new vehicle and even though this car was not on the lot, he researched the available cars throughout Utah and found one in Ogden Utah and got permission from his manager to trade a vehicle on their lot with the one that we wanted up in Ogden. Nick then personally drove the traded car up to Ogden, picked up the car that we wanted and drove it back. His entire day was spent on just helping us get what we wanted. I'm sure he must have missed out on other sales opportunities while devoting his entire day to my wife and me. Never once did I feel pressured to buy a vehicle from their dealership or to sacrifice something that we wanted for what they had available. After being introduce to the other members of the Nate Wade dealership team, I do feel like being a part of the Nate Wade family and that they are truly interested in my satisfaction as a customer. My wife and I came to Nate Wade after our primary vehicle died. We were a bit stressed, because we hadn't planned on replacing our vehicle yet. We had secured an auto loan through our credit union when we went to Nate Wade. When we got there, we informed Craig of our price range. He showed us vehicles well within the range we had specified, and we were never pressured to go outside of it. Craig was super helpful, and patient. He let us test drive several cars, informed us of the differences between them, and was generally very knowledgeable. After we decided on the vehicle we wanted, we sat down and filled out the paperwork. We then met with Steve Yates, who also didn't pressure us at all. He informed us of our options, what they all mean, etc. He also asked if he could shop around for an auto loan and possibly secure us a better rate. We agreed, and we were super happy we did. He managed to get us a loan that was SEVERAL points lower than the loan through our credit union. As a whole the experience was awesome and we will be back for SURE when it comes time for a new car. I have always been wary of dealerships because of the bad reputation a lot of them get. I would highly recommend Nate Wade Subaru, you won't be disappointed!

Mr. Tonel did something rare within the often-parodied car buying experience: He let the car sell itself. Mario was patient with our multiple visits and model search. While we ended up with an Outback, Mario made sure we were able to drive a variety of models with different options. I mean, it took us about three weeks to make a decision and Mario was there all the way. Not once did he say "what do we have to do to get you in a vehicle today?" Nor did he insult the other cars we were considering. The Outback sold itself, but Mario was the reason we bought from Nate Wade.

Nate Wade Subaru was recommended to us by a friend after going through an unfortunate experience at a very pushy dealership. We were able to walk around the lot without being stalked by sales people and determine which cars we were interested in peacefully. When it was time for a test drive Nick gave us the keys and let us take one of the cars out. Upon return from the test drive he was super relaxed and no pressure, we asked a few questions and left.

The following week we returned with the intent to trade in our current vehicle and lease a Subaru, again Nick was super helpful and we never felt pressured into making a decision. He helped me set up my phone through the bluetooth system and spent some time ensuring I was comfortable with everything.

Carla and Gentry always returned my calls and emails promptly when I left messages, and I received great personal attention. I never felt rushed or pressured. I have and will continue to highly recommend Nate Wade to all of my friends.

While browsing the internet casually looking for new STi pricing, I NEVER imagined i'd have this positive of an experience with a car dealership - much less driving home the car i'd been dreaming of for over a decade. Within a single email from Gentry at Nate Wade, I had better pricing than a competing dealership (by thousands of dollars) and an invitation to come down and see the car. I took Gentry up on it and before I knew it, I was sitting in a beautiful new car ready to take it home. We had a conversation about the car and with ZERO pressure, he told me that if its the right time for me, then great, but if not, not a big deal and to go home and think it over. With that advice and wanting to make sure I did my due diligence, I almost immediately went to Nate Wade's competition and let them know of my experience with the service and the price quote and was told "Then go buy it at Nate Wade". That was the BEST advice that other dealership had ever given me as a week later I was driving home a brand new, 2013 STi and my wife was driving home a brand new 2013 XV Crosstrek (yes, we both bought new cars from them, that's how good the experience was).

The entire sales process from looking at the car to signing on the dotted line was excellent and they did everything they could to be completely transparent, honest and easy to do business with. I'll even go so far as to say I trust everyone from sales to finance at Nate Wade - they are that good.

In the weeks preceding and following the purchase, I've had lots of contact with Nate Wade regarding accessories, questions and various other items and honestly, I feel like I am a close friend of the dealership and not just another customer that walks through the door. Its an incredibly welcoming dealership and environment and another big reason why i'll continue to go back and refer everyone I know to go buy a car from them.

Pricing is definitely NOT the primary driver behind me purchasing a car and honestly, i'll easily pay more to purchase from somewhere that has excellent service. With that, I am told quite often that i'm a somewhat hard person to please when it comes to customer service and in all honesty, I do take customer service VERY seriously. I rarely fill out reviews for decent service and only occasionally do write ups for bad service, but great service I will ALWAYS take the time to make sure others know how well I was treated and in this case, you CANNOT go wrong with purchasing a car from Nate Wade Subaru and Gentry Mikesell.

He did everything he could and talked with Nick to make sure I could get a good deal on financing and drive away with my first big auto purchase. They both did an amazing at their job, actually I wouldn't even call it their job, they made it more of a friendship than a job. I can say this because I have been to many dealers and haven't been treated as well as I was at Nate Wade Subaru. I just bought a car from Nate Wade Subaru and it was a comfortable, stress free, and fun experience. How often can you say that about a car dealership? I worked with Gentry Mikesell and he's right when he says, "I'm not your typical salesman." He looked out for my needs and made sure I got the car I wanted not a car they were trying to sell. Gentry knew his stuff as well, answered all my questions and I got a great deal :) I first started looking for a car in February and didn't buy until November. Every time I had a question Gentry returned my correspondence quickly and was polite and did not pressure me to hurry up and buy the car already. I found Gentry at Nate Wade Subaru because I was using the Costco Auto Program. And I don't think I would have pursued buying a car if he wasn't so great to work with.

I have never owned a Subaru, and was still looking at other things, however the response I got back from Gentry Mikesell was friendly, genuine, and QUICK. A "typical" dealership would rip off a younger person (I'm 20 years old), but they didn't do that to me.

I'm from New Jersey and this is my third year here in Utah studying at Westminster College. Car drama east coast to west coast is something I'm all TOO familiar with. My father was kind enough to ship my car (manual trans. 2007 Audi 2.0 Quatro) to me (about $1,700) and it came to me with minor scratches and a hole in my bumper.

However, the amount of money spent on the Audi itself was far too much. The car was still being financed and the monthly payments in addition to the insurance rate (about $800 a month) was way too high for my father to pay. Any mechanical problem with the Audi was expensive as well.

All my friends drive Subaru's and I was easily enticed to get one myself. They're reliable cars and I wanted an affordable all-wheel drive car. I walked into Nate Wade and my process began with Nick Smith. He didn't pressure me to buy once. I just told him what I wanted and he walked through the best options for me while coordinating phone calls with my father in New York as well.

I wanted to buy a WRX to match the performance of my previous car. My credit score was too low and my father's was decent but Nick Poulos worked extremely hard to get me approved for a WRX anyway, hardly even knowing me.

In the end, I traded in my Audi, put all the equity left over as a down payment toward a worry-free lease, and I ended up with a brand new 2013 Impreza Otutback Sport with payments of $279.29. The payments would be even lower but I added the $30 maintenance plan which covers EVERYTHING (comprehensive coverage). They even put my name on this lease even though my credit score was low just so that I could have the better sales tax and insurance in Utah. Every dealership and other salesman I dealt with had zero interest in helping a college student get a reliable, safe, and cost-effective car.

When I was signing the lease papers, Nick Poulos explained what every single line of text meant and explained what I was signing. He paid for the lease papers to be Fedex'd overnight'd to my father's office in New York.

I actually regrettably left NAC to work for Canyons Resort for a promotion(but left my heart), and Allie took over part of my job. Getting to know Mr. &  Mrs. Schneider and see what they have done for NAC is terrific. They have always been generous contributors at all fundraising events as well as provided pretty amazing vehicles for Meeche & Gail. Everyone at NAC has been touched by them.

We purchased our first Subaru Outback in 2002 and this vehicle will now be given to Victoria to drive. She will finish her Master's in Occupational Therapy at the U of U in May 2013. Once she gets a job in her field, her first line of business is to trade in our wonderful 2002 Outback for either an Impreza or the new Crossover!

All of our experiences with Nate Wade have been terrific, from the first time we purchased a car there in 2002 till yesterday. Gentry is a very kind, warm individual that is low key and ready to offer any and all information out there regarding Subaru's and purchasing our vehicle. When we found out 10 weeks into the process that we were not able to get the car I ordered, pearl blue Impreza hatch back, he said he would understand if we decided to go to another dealership. We really enjoyed dealing with Gentry Mikesell on the initial test drive and final purchase and highly recommend asking for him directly if you're in for a first time visit.

First, have to say, I am probably a pretty tough customer and hard negotiator, I think they dealt with me well. I already did a lot of my own research and recently purchased another Subaru at a different dealership, this second purchase was for a family member. Had visited another dealer in the local Salt Lake Valley, but felt they were less than willing to be competitive on (reasonable) pricing considering the circumstance, and did not purchase either of our two vehicles there. Since there are only two dealerships local in Salt Lake you can do the math and figure out who the other is so I won't mention names.

If Nate Wade has the stock and/or you want to stay in the immediate Salt Lake City area, I say, go for it!

I think as a general rule most of the VIP benefits of the different dealerships are close to par and relevant only if you plan to never move from the area, so it comes down to sales/service experience and pricing. Subaru packages options in an odd way (I think) and sometimes isn't super transparent to the customer or the dealerships with order status or ordering/model availability so I can't fault the dealerships or sales people for that, they just end up having to deal with the outcome there.

Nick Poulos is a character (that's a positive comment) and quite funny. He did his job as a finance manager in presenting all the options to us, but at the same time, he was respectful of the fact that we wanted to take a bit of time to make educated choices on the warranties and extras. I did not feel like we were being pressured into anything or being put on the spot. All the paperwork and documents matched what was agreed and no gotchas.

My experience with Nate Wade Subaru was Excellent from day one. Several weeks ago, we stopped by on a whim to check out an Outback. A sales person named Manny greeted us and worked with us that day. Manny was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He hooked us up with a loaded Outback and let us take it for a spin without him. I really appreciated that, because I don't like the added pressure having a sales person in the car with you brings. I find that it makes it hard for me to evaluate the car. When we returned, Manny didn't push for a close, which I also appreciated. He clearly picked up on my cues.

Fast forward a couple weeks, when I got a little more serious. I used your website to inquire about the "ePrice" for a loaded Outback. Nick Smith responded and I continued to work with him on subsequent communications. I asked Nick to see if he could put together a no money out of pocket lease for me, because we had some recent unexpected expenses. Nick and I exchanged several emails. His responsiveness was a factor in my decision to do business with Nate Wade. Additionally, his tone in his email was just right for me. One of the things I appreciated was how he helped me with information while not forcing a close.

Finally, I made a decision to get the Outback. Nick and I connected on the phone and I had one last request: hook me up with a Finance person who won't do the hard sell on me for the usual things (protectant, interior treatment, extended coverage, etc). He came through again by hooking me up with Steve Yates.

We came to pick up the car and enjoyed meeting Nick in person. After going over the details about the car and a few pieces of paperwork, we went to meet with Steve for the financing. Steve was also a pleasure to deal with. He was friendly and efficient and didn't attempt any hard closing techniques.

First off, let me start saying that we've never had a problem at Nate Wade Subaru. We own 2 Subaru's (yes, we're a Subaru family) and we take both cars in to get serviced there, even though another Subaru dealership is closer to our home/work. The reason we chose to do business with Nate Wade was due to an excellent experience we had a couple years ago when we purchased a used Subaru there from a salesperson named Lamar. Anyway, this review is about their service department and not the sales department. Long story short: I brought one of our Subarus in for scheduled maintenance and whatever else needed to get done, since having small children at home it gets complicated to find time and someone available to watch them while I take the car in to get serviced, so I like to get EVERYTHING that needs to be done, done all at once. So I dropped the car off early in the morning and picked it up late afternoon so they would have enough time to work on it. Unfortunately, it seemed that there wasn't enough time to get everything done to the car, so one thing didn't get done: the recall. For that reason, I wrote them a note letting them know what happened and soon enough I got an email from Rich Beeler, the Service Mgr, asking me if he could come to my house/work to pick my car up so the recall could get taken care of. How awesome is that? That offer blew me away. So I scheduled a day and time that was convenient for me and Rich came over to my house and took the car back to Nate Wade Subaru, got the recall done, and Bill brought my car back and also addressed a couple concerns I had with the car at the time Rich had come pick it up. Now, that's what REAL customer service is all about! At first I was upset the recall hadn't got done in the first place, and I was even ready to go to their competitor to get it done and get both Subarus served there from then on but thanks to Rich and for his caring for me as a customer, I am now 100% loyal to Nate Wade Subaru. I will continue to service both Subarus over there and will definitely recommend Nate Wade Subaru to all my family and friends! You guys have won a loyal customer for life!

Purchasing was easy since I used the COSTCO program but aside from that easy process both gentlemen were extremely helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns. One of my concerns was if the 4 cylinder vehicle would be sufficient for getting up the large hills to Park City. They encouraged me to test drive the car in the canyon, which convinced me that the car was great. I also had a trade-in. That process was very smooth and I was offered a fair price immediately. The Business Manager that handled the financing was also great and got me through the paperwork in a timely fashion. Finally, Gentry called the next day to answer any questions I had and also secured me a loaner vehicle for the following week so that I could have the Zurich Shield applied to my new car (which takes an entire day).

We bought a 2010 Forester from Nate Wade Subaru. We traded in our (only) car that we had had for 13 years. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, all of our questions were answered, and we didn't feel pressured - it really was a great experience.

We were given time on arrival to look around. Roger came over right at the perfect moment to answer questions and let us take a test drive. There was a good selection of vehicles on the lot; we found just what we wanted. Roger then helped us by getting the credit check and trade-in to get the financing started; and getting the insurance switched over.

We then saw Steve who finished the financing and told us of all our options. I really appreciated how helpful and straightforward everyone was, and how the whole process of getting paperwork done was expedited. I also appreciate how the dealership handles getting the license plates so that I can avoid the DMV.

I would definitely recommend this dealership, as well as the Forester - it drives like a dream.

Being from out of town, it was very important that we were able to get up-to-date accurate information on the internet. Nate Wade seemed very good about keeping their site up. Nick Westover in Internet sales was very helpful and patient as we looked at a number of cars. There was never any pressure to sell; he let us look until we found one that was right for us.

We felt the pricing was very fair and typically lower than other dealerships. We were also very impressed with the large selection of used Subaru's -- few other dealerships even came close. Having a large selection made it easier to make a decision, and we had more confidence that we were making the right decision and not just buying out of desperation. When we were finishing up our purchase, Nick Poulos in financing made it a very pleasant experience -- again, no pressure to buy anything we didn't want. Overall a very good experience (and car buying ranks right up there with root canals for me.)

Sales: Mario was good to work with: Experienced, and efficient at getting me into a car I'd researched somewhat. Ultimately purchased through a Costco plan. I personally don't relish 'shopping', but know a purchase of something this costly, which I expect to spend 2000-10000 hours interacting with, merits some serious thought.

Service: All staff I've interacted with has been courteous and friendly. For a one year old car, I've been back to the dealership several times. The frequency was greater than I expected, (multiple recalls, DOA stereo system component(s)), but generally, I was in and out with minimal impact to my personal time.

The dealership itself is a clean, comfortable, and pretty quiet place to wait for service to be completed, or a shuttle to my office. Stereo system issues required some back-and-forth to resolve; the shuttle was tied up in a trip WAAAY out in far end of the county, but NW staff minimized the inconveniences.

Auto Body: still don't know how I was unlucky to get a small but noticeable door dent in one of the costliest places to completely repair. I was 200% satisfied with a compromise on a "75% or better improvement" for a fraction of the cost. Mike's (Pro-Dent) talents with a patient 'tap tap tap' to this awkward location until it was almost imperceptible was very much appreciated. As the not-quite-quarter-sized dent didn't scratch or crack the paint, avoiding the patch & paint route was a win, both for ultimate repair appearance and MT time.
